When can I submit my abstract?

s can be submitted at any time from now to January 30th, 2009 at 09:00 pm GMT

Where do I submit my abstract?
Abstracts must be submitted via Internet only. Click on
Submission item in the Abstract Submission menu and fill the form. Your login and password will be e-mailed to you at the time you start your abstract submission. You will need the login and password to re-access your abstract.

Can I revise my abstract?
Yes, you will be able to revise your completed abstract at any time until the deadline or until you submit it. Your abstract must be completed and sent by January 30th, 2009.

Will the abstract be filled in just one box or will it be stratified?

The abstract form is structured into: Introduction, Objectives, Material & Methods, Results and Conclusion.

How many abstracts can I submit?
An individual may be Corresponding Author of eight submitted abstracts. The Presenting Author's name must appear first on the abstract and he/she has to be registered in the Congress to present the paper. There is no limit to the number of times an individual may appear as co-author on abstracts.

Do I have to register to submit a paper?
To present a paper, the Presenting Author must be registered in the Congress.

Can I choose the form of presentation for my paper?
When you submit your paper you choose your preferred form of presentation. However, all accepted abstracts will be assigned to either a paper or poster presentation at the discretion of the Congress Committee.

In what languages can the abstracts be submitted?

English, Spanish and Portuguese

I am sending video(s) for the Video Festival. Do I have to send the abstract online? Where do I find the guidelines for the video format, length & submission?
You must send the abstract online, following the submission guidelines for all forms of presentations. Videos may be submitted in CD or DVD on MPEG 2 format saved as Windows Media files. Maximum length of movies is 10 minutes.

When will I know if my abstract has been accepted?
After the Scientific Committee analysis, the corresponding author will receive an email by March 2009 regarding the paper acceptance, schedule and presentation form (oral presentation or poster). After March 2009 the abstracts notification will be posted at
www.ifossaopaulo2009.com.br
