Instructional Courses

Instructional courses are designed to provide IFOS 2009 - Brazil audience with advanced specialist knowledge in a particular area of expertise and offer a wide range of options from which they can compile a programme specifically suited to their own (or their institution's) interests and needs.

The Scientific Committee encourages ENT doctors from all over the world to submit their Instructional Courses.

Only on-line submissions will be considered for presentation. All presenters must be regularly registered before February 28^th, 2009 to have the Course included in the program.

Deadline for submission: September 30^th, 2008

Format: 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes (depending on availability)

AV Equipment available: LCD Projector, computer, laser pointer, screen and microphone.

Handouts: Allowed but not mandatory. Presenters are responsible for the copies and its distribution, which is restricted to the course time, inside the room.

Confirmation of presentation: October 30^th, 2008 e-mailed to the presenter's address informed in the submission form.

Deadline for registration in the congress: February 28^th, 2009

Financial interest: IFOS 2009 BRAZIL has determined that financial interest should not restrict expert scientific, clinical or non-clinical presentations or publication, provided that an appropriate disclosure of such interest is made. Financial interest has been defined as any financial gain brought to the instructor/author by direct or indirect commission.

For the disclosure, please use the following information:

Employee – Identified as an employee of a for profit company with an interest in the subject matter of this presentation

Product – Financial interest in equipment, process or product presented

Consultant – Compensation received within the past three years for consulting services regarding the equipment, process or product presented
